These illustrations were inspired by a short story in the novel 'invisible cities' by Italo Calvino. The story is based on a small spiderweb-like city, hung between two mountains. In my version, this city exists from collected dust and webs between two mountains; that are actually giants who fell into hibernation as the city grew. One of the giants is awake- when will the other one wake up? What will happen to the city?
